Each month a member of ALIA Research Committee writes a little column for Incite, the membership newsletter of The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). The column is developed from an article found in ProQuest’s Library Science package which is provided to ALIA members as a part of their membership. It is also intended the column is related to the issue theme. August 2013 the theme was Collection management (a theme on which I am a bit rusty) so I used the opportunity to update myself. The resulting column is reproduced on the LARK Library Applied Research Kollektive blog for those interested.
